Drive check on VS880

When you use drive check on the VS880,is it checking the drive itself or the disc in the drive? I am using an external drive (ORB)and it started acting up,so I did a drive check and found errors......is it the ORB disc or drive itself?

That would be your internal drive it scans & checks....

The VS880 doesn't have a drive in it right now...plus I set the drive check for the ORB,which is the only drive hooked up.
