"Drive Busy"

I am getting a "Drive Busy" warning on my 1880 quite frequently.I read in the manual that this is due to the drive not being fast enough to process all the information if a soung has a lot of edits or punch ins or mutipule takes.My problem is that I have not done mutipule takes and numorous edits.All I can do is stop the machine and "optimize" the song and it works fine for a while and then "drive busy" comes back on and playback is halted.

I get it alot also if I'm using AUTOMIX:mad: :mad: There is a huge discussion on this at the VS Planet. All you can do is keep optimizing and pray.

I had it to. It says in my bible that you should back up your songs data(to cd.zip or dat )then deleat every thing then reload ,it sounds like a lot of bother but might work. I haven't had much trouble though except when recording live for about 40 mins using 5 tracks.
