Here for the cheer
Hi
I'm currently getting to grips with the DP01-FX. I've never recorded before but wish to pull together years of half written songs and half remembered riffs into something definite.
My problem is this: When I use a vocal effect, I can hear it through the headphones but when I playback after recording the effect isn't there. It's probably something simple - any ideas?
I'm using a dynamic mike.
Thanks in anticipation

are both inputs, A + B on? it's been a while since i've used my dp 01 fx but i believe that the effects can only be recorded on one channel and that that channel can be the only one on. shift+B and shift+A will turn those channels off and on.

cheers

Thanks for the reply - I'll check next opportunity I get and will let you know
:)

The solution was simple - silly me - and thanks for the help.
Here are my first tunes

I like the layout and the physical sliders and buttons. It's easy to put stuff onto the PC though I've only loaded and tried to clean the masters. I'm going to load the individual tracks and see if they scrub up any better.
It's my first attempt at digi recording - it's my techniques that need attention and tweaking, certainly not the equipment!
I'm using it in conjunction with Audacity.
It's helping me to expand my ideas cos there are so many more options open to me with it. For a one man band it's ideal.
Many thanks for your comments.
