I've looked thru the manual and I can not find how many hrs this thing can record .

How many hours are you wanting to record? It's got a hard drive, so I'd guess there's plenty of recording time for most projects.

Was going to record an 8 hr benefit , but it has come and gone. It was a learning experience (recording) and I had fun playing .
