I've been using the DP-24 for a while now to track in the Akai MPC and other synths. I'm running low on inputs, before I upgrade to a larger control surface/mixer I wanted to know if it's possible to Midi sync the following.

  1. DP 24& DP32
  2. DP 24& DP 24
  3. DP 24& Neo 2488
  4. DP 24& Korg D3200

I realize that I would to save twice on both machines and have a detailed track sheet. I know in the past the the early Roland VS models couldn't sync to each other. I had a VS 840 and it coudn't sync with another VS 840 but it could with a VS880 and up. So if anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks.

2488 and Neo can work as slave so you can simple connect one out to the other in (one master, the other slave) or both as slave and control both with another controller. You can configure 2488 and Neo as slave and control it with a DAW as master or, as I do, with a Axion Keyboard controller.

If I not wrong DP-24/32 have problems working as slave, may be with the new updates it was fixed. If this problem remains, it is not possible.

Korg D3200 also has Midi In and out, suppose to work, but as DP-24/32, may be .....
