Does this mic look fake?

Does this look like a real Audio-Technica atm25?

I'm a little suspicious because it is priced pretty low and looks different from genuine pictures (namely the band that goes around the mic is gray instead of red). Here is a picture of an atm25 that is genuine for comparison.

I realize it might be difficult to tell from just the one picture, but if anyone knows whether this is fake or not, please post.

looks like an older model. find out how long the company has made the microphone model.

I have an old, beat up ATM25 that is very dark gray, and the band is the same color as the rest of the mic. Other than the color, it looks just like those two. I'm guessing they've just changed color schemes over the years.

Actually it looks pretty rough. I bet he took a black magic marker and colored over it to make it look nicer.
