Yeah, the bass is what we were worried about. We're pretty happy with the rest. We've got a fairly decent mixer working on this and he's dealing with working with my tracked files, which sounds like i might have been a little low on the presence end of things. He was mentioning something about re-amping, and some other tricks he had to deal with this sort of thing (what is re-amping?). I didn't think i was that far off originally with my tracks. They seemed really big and fat, but maybe it was all just low end stuff going on. Thanks for listening!
Im thinking that by reamping he means taking the recorded track and putting it through an amp and recording it again.
But honestly if you are going to reamp then I would advise you to just re-record the track as you will get a cleaner and better sounding bass.

cool tuneage. fret noise and squeaks from the bass with the low end rolled off would be fine on this, the bass drum is on 1 in the pocket with a nice phat thoomp, so the bass could dance around just above those frequencies. That would stop any wrestling.

TOMMY MAS: Thanks!

ECKTRONIC: I'd love to rerecord it, but it's currently in the process of being mixed in So-Cal (we're in Nor-Cal) now, so the retracking isn't as easy as we'd hoped. He seems to think he can make it work. We hope so! Thanks for the advice...

TOKI987: Thanks for listening Toks...so you're saying to roll off some of the low end on the bass?

Thanks for the help people!
