Does my machine need to be level ??

Hello folks,

I have a Yamaha AW4416. I would like to mount the unit at an angle on my desk so that it will be easier to view. Does anyone see any problems with this ?

In other words, I would like to put something underneath the back side so that it is tilted TOWARDS me. If it is OK, how much would be too much?

Should be fine, as long as you don't cover any vent holes along the bottom.

It's a digital machine so there shouldn't be any problems placing it at an angle. I do it with my MR-8 all the time (sometimes I even hold it in my lap when I am transferring tracks to pc). Like Willis said, just make sure your not covering up vent holes and you will be fine.
