Does cakewalk have bad customer support

I wrote cakewalk with some questions about home studio xl to see if it would be right for me...Seems i can't get any help with those questions...
Guess they are not interested selling it and making money..Weird..
Wow I would hate to see how they act after I make a purchase...

Can anyone share the way they feel about the software and customer support..Anybody:confused:
 
Their support is great. Just pick up the phone and give them a call. They just rolled out a new version of their biggest selling software, so they're slammed and they may be slow in responding to emails. Email is a terrible way to interact with people anyways, especially time critical or support issues. Just call them.
 
Ahhh, ok that is understandable...Thanks for the reply . I just downloaded the sonar 6 trial ...I cant get it to do anything..I would really need support.

Ditto that as well. I've been a customer for years. They've always been quite responsive.
 
I sent em an email about upgrading from GTP2 to SPE7...they got back to me in 2 or 3 days, which I thought was pretty good considering they had only just released S7 and would most likely have been extremely busy.
 
I have found Cakes customer support to be quite good whereas their athletic support is certainly sub par.
