Does anyone know how to use fl?

So up until recently I was using logic for iPad to record, but decided to switch to fl due to a lack of plug in and mixing options. And while making beats in fl is easy, recording vocals/guitar is a living h3ll. So I was just wondering, does anyone who uses it have any advice? I use a rode nt1-a and a focusrite Scarlette knockoff for vocals and my pc in general, if that changes anything. Thanks in advance!

Other than setting up custom hotkey processes, the first thing to learn to do is turn off the daw monitoring so it doesn't echo.
