Does anyone know about the 424 used in computer recording?

I have a 424 MK III that I am using as the mixer for my new PC recording set-up.
I am running Instrument>424 MK III>Recorder
How well will the 424 work as described. I have not hooked it up with my new sound card as of yet.

Which soundcard do you have? The 424 will work fine for some cheap preamps.

The Audiophile won't degrade the sound of the 424.
