i have bled while playing more than a few times. it's my right hand picking finger. i drag the tip of my finger, along with the tip of the pick when doing percussive and dragging things (don't know the technical terms). me and a buddy were jamming one night and i was getting into it pretty hard. i noticed a bunch of brown spots all over my pick guard. it was dried blood! the tip of my finger was bleeding and apparently i had been slinging blood all over my white pick guard. the same finger busts open every once in while either after playing really long, hard, or both.......and it's always after playing blues stuff.

The skin on my finger tips just peel off and sometimes my strumming hand the finger nails get worn down. That reminds me i made a pic out of scrap aluminum and they just ware down i played with one for 10 minutes and my finders looked like the tin mans face (grey). But couldnt realy notice much ware on the pic i like em cause there strong light, anybody used em before the one from the store are they any good?
