Hey everyone, sorry I double posted, I didnt have a server for this file so I closed the post.





The file will be availible at 11 pm tonight...




I just finished the rough tracks for one of my bands new songs minus vocals. I am mixing it but if you have some extra time on your hands I thought that someone might want to take a crack at this mix. Send me a pm if you want the files for it!

There are 3 kick tracks, 3 snare tracks, 2 overheads 2 toms on room, several guitar tracks and a bass track. no vocals yet.

i have no idea what to do with this pando thing.
 
Its like a bit torrent...once you download pando then drag the session files in there and it should start a download.

Ummmm,no.
I think ill pass untill you host it on something else other than some site to which i have to download software to get it.
 
Pando is pretty kick ass. I'm downloading the files now.
 
You kind of need the vocals before you try to do a mix. Unless you don't mind doing it again.

Gosh these are alot of tracks! :eek: I mean it's cool cus I learned something new now, you can never have too many tracks! I'll try mixing it by the end of this week

I tried opening the file with Pando and it's asking me to send it?? :confused:

I even tried renaming it with a .pando extension and it's now saying the file is corrupt. :confused: :confused: :confused:

just minimize pando and click on this link and pando will automatically launch
 
vanbas- I liked the sound you got out of the guitar tracks! How did you eq them? This drums seemed a little far back but when it came to the interlude the guitar sounded great!

myhatbroke- I think you got the drums to sound good the snare sounded alot more crisp than I could get it to sound...but again they were a little too far back for my liking...the tapping part on the verse was supposed to be kind of low for effect but after hearing your mix I will probably bring it up.

Markaholic- sounds really good! Can you tell me what all you did?...I like the guitar sound...On first listen I couldn't hear the bass...but now I hear it and it sits pretty well!

Im glad you like it, i did some panning,eq.
I also omitted alot of the tracks that was in the download.
I also squashed the sh*t out the mix! (which i find this type of music is always overly compressed) :D
Im still fiddling with it as it can be improved.

I used some of your ideas...tell me what you think...
