Do you think these songs have a chance at making it big?

I'm most probably the wrong person to ask as I dont like Darth Vader vocals and 3 chord metal style songs.

I listened to "Conformist". I liked the opening and found it interesting but from there is was all downhill.

Don't you get a sore throat from after singin one of those songs?
And who made you so angry.....

Dont know about the song, because I aint listening.....

Since this is the Marketing forum, Ill let you know that you suck at marketing....all the cross posting/spamming is the surest fire way of pissing people off and making them wanna not listen to your music and assume it sucks......

there's certainly and audience for this...it's not me, but if you want some constructive critizism...I really dislike your bands name...unless it's super meaningfull to you, I'd sugjest you look it over a few times...I'm not mainstream pro so I don't know...maybe it's a marketable named...but I don't like anything mis-spelled or with an apostrophe (I have NO clue if I spelled that correctly...hey, I said I didn't like misspelled band names, not that I could spell). anyway...yeah, I don't like your music, but someone will...a decent ammount of people probably will...

I actually liked that intro for that...conformity or whatever song...kind of toolish...purdy.

-brandon.

i like it!!! going big? ehhh maybe...i don't see much airplay for this kind of music, being radio stations today are worthless and just filled with commercials, have you tried to get your songs on the radio or sent out anything to record companies? you could definitely build a strong fan base...but i dont see that type of music making it big, i like it though rock on dude.

Musicianship and creativity are A+

Now, 7-minute songs will never get you popular fame though I love writing them too. If you can hit a musical bullseye in under 4-minutes you've got something -5 is really pushing it, more isn't going to happen unless you have already made it or the 60's come back.

Drums are way too thinned-down.

Guitar is STRONG dude -nice.

Lyrics are too muffled -I think some better inunciation (spelling?) on the vocals would fix that but I know it's hard with that style.

Vocal effects are awesome -very good.

Artwork on the MP3 site is great.

straght forward opinion

I took a listen, and jotted comments to myself as I perused each selection.

First of all, I congratulate you and respect the fact that you have a dedication unmatched by 90% of the musical field out there; that is, you have taken the time and effort to create your art and commit it to recorded medium. Also, that you open yourself to the critique and criticism of others shows a willingness to strive for improvement and growth. Kudos and Applauds.

That being said, here's the notes as jotted whilst listening:

Conformist Wine-- dated, early Metallica kind of feel; too long for conventional radio, better as a deep album cut.

Amends-- Good acoustic, needs more percussion or strings or something to break a monotonous arrangement. Tends to drag on, song needs stronger bridge and chorus changes.

Mission-- dark monotonous tone. Again, needs more dynamic changes. All drum sounds give me the impression that VDrums or other electronics were used. Natural sounds would be better.

Redline-- 70's metal sound and feel. sounded like Ted Nugent meets KISS brought to modern recording standards. Again, those electronic drum sounds (ughhh!) natural drum sounds will give it a more receivable sound. Excellent guitar sounds. Missing dynamic changes.

Turning Point-- 80's underground metal sound and feel. Dated, but a good song.

--vocals on all tracks are great, and will sound better with better dynamic changes in the musical arrangement.
--All songs need to wrap up sooner;get to the point.

Now this is just a humble opinion from some lowly producer in Phoenix, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Bottom line is, I noticed that you had over 6000 plays to date. Either you can market the hell out of the record, or you have the makings of a decent fan base. In both cases, what really matters is, drawing atttention to yourself is what it's all about. there's so much music out there and so many styles thatonly the one's that stand out the most get the best shots.

I've heard bands that totally sucked in my opinion get record deals, and bands that I thought would be the next musical phenom go the way of maturity, steady jobs and "a normal life".

As with anything, it' your commitment to your dream that will be the cornerstone of a successful recording carreer.
