I wonder if I could make a record using all things bought from radio shack and get radio shack to sponor and distribute the record????

No One Steel This Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going for it baby! I'll even rename the band "radio shack"
It's a cool name for a band. Better than using it for a store.

I'm on this.. Leave my idea alone! Get your own idea or go fart in the wind cause I am going to be a star!

Great, thanks!
And when you use the MSH1Os, do you set them similar to the ones in the picture?

Actually I could stomach a u87 at used prices.

Oh and I found a hell of a deal on a U47!!!

Amazing price at this place!

You should check this out chess. It's a perfect match at the right price!

I'm guilty as charged.:o

I use MSH 1O's as overheads too! Good image and the omni opens up my drum sound in the room a lot more. Duh. Okay. Eric.

Update:

I did two more songs by the gospel group recently, but I've been down with some kind of bronchial crap that's killing my sinuses, and stuffing my ears with crap, while I try to cough my guts up.

Anyway, I did a mix and mastered the two songs - and the finished product sucks!! The basic multi-track recording is good, but I'm gonna hafta do a whole new remix and re-master both songs again before I let the group add them to their other three songs.

Mixing when you're sick is just not a good idea.

Welcome to the club, I swear I now know where 3M got the idea for their yellow contact adhesive from :D..

This Saturday, I'm recording a Zydeco band that should be a lot of fun. If I have time, I'll post the tracks here. If not, it'll hafta wait till I get back from the NAMM show in California.

You might want to think about cutting back on the smokes. :) Oops, I see your post was a couple of months ago - but you still might want to think about it. Hope you got better.

Cutting back? NEVER!! But, I did get over the bronchial crap finally.

I'm glad you're better, but as a physician and an ex-smoker, I hate to see anyone playing Russian roulette with his health. Smoking greatly increases your chances of a long, painful, suffering demise, and I'd hate to see this happen, especially to someone like you, Harvey.

However, I know how hard it is to quit, having done so at least ten times myself. And smoking can be enjoyable too. Folks just have to decide what is important in their lives.

Anyway, off the soapbox and back to the regular programme. :)

You obviously have never seen the way I drive.

Then I suggest that, to optimize your health (at least short term), that instead of driving to NAMM, you stay home and smoke. :D
Nope, got the trip kinda all laid out, except for the route. It's boring from Denton to Albuquerque, via 40; even more boring going via 20 to 10 to El Paso. I'll probably go 380 all the way from Denton to Roswell, New Mexico. The "road less traveled", and all that stuff. And I can smoke all the way to California (where I've heard that they take away your cigarettes at the border).

Be sure to get out and stretch often, keep those blood clots from forming! A few aspirin probably can't hurt (unless you take one of those meds advertised in Good Housekeeping. I swear I am never taking any of those, I'm sticking to aspirin!)

A guy I knew bought it this year in the men's room at a rest stop. Good guy too. That ain't no way to go :(
