Older Epiphone..Looks like a P90 in the bridge..wild guess,perhaps circa 1963 '64ish..or a reproduction of that vintage/era :)

It's an early Sixties Epiphone Coronet - this red finish, which has little flecks of yellow in it is referred to (maybe unofficially) as red fox finish.
May be as early as late '61 through about '64.
(Don't have my reference books with me - it appears to have a P-90 and three-on-a-side tuners - they went to the 6-a-side 'batwing' headstock around the end of '64 I think. Anyone? These have a really nice wide flat neck - the batwings were much narrower.)

Virtually identical to a double-cut non SG shape Les Paul Junior, and made in the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Great little rock and roll guitar - you should hear one through a '59 bassman!

I think Paul McCartney's guitar player plays slide on one.

I used to see them with small single coils too..same P/U's as SG 3's..Nice guitar..now come to think of it I do remember the 6 on a sides also..They reissued that body headstock sort of with the E-290{?} series{about 74/75} I belive,I bought one brand new, think I paid about 250.00..although it had humbuckers and made in Japan..takes me back :)

they reissued them in the 90's also. they started with the 6 on a side tuners and then went to the bat wing at some point......i don't know when they stopped making them......around 2001 maybe?. the new ones go for pretty cheap on ebay.
