Spinitron is a web site I found that I think others may find useful. As a small home recorder, getting stuff on the radio can seem out of reach. But there are many independent radio stations out there still with shows to highlight independent and even home-recorded music. How do you find them? Spinitron is "a playlist-management for non-commercial community and educational radio stations" so its main use is for the radio stations and DJs themselves, but it is a really cool way to find them. there are even links to specific radio stations and shows if you look
One of the neat things about spinitron is that you can search the past 24 hours for free. If a track was played on one of the hundreds of stations in the past 24 hours you will see it so you can find out if your song was played even if you didn't happen to be tuned in at the time it played. you can also pay for the ability to search for longer periods
Just search for spinitron in your browser and you will find it
