Do you have one of those amps with the effects built in?

Optimus Prime
Peavey?
Line 6?
Beheringer?
Crate?

If so, how's that working for you?

Yeah. The Hammond 6-spring reverb on my Rivera sounds very reverb-ery. :D

Peavey BAM2x10. Its ok.

Does it have that transtube technology?

I had a peavey bandit and everything was great on it cept' it didn't get the right kind of clean sound. Had no effects though.

I've got trem and verb on my ac30cc but I never use it. Does that count?

Nope, everything, including its persona, is DIGITAL! Seriously dedicated to binary sound. Even its tube models sound digital. Sounds awesome with a synth.

Yep. I've got that Berringer 125 Vampire head. I bought it, put it in the garage, and it's still there. I play mainly through my '65 Bassman, and my Blues Jr. But, it's nice to play with. I just don't have the time to sit down and fiddle all day with it.

I've been reading some reviews at H.C.

The Line 6 flextone II was mentioned here in a recent thread as being better than the spider line, but the reviews are horrible.

I'm ethier going to go with a cheaper tube amp and an ME-50,
or a Peavey Transtube 212 efx.

I gig with an AX2 with the Floorboard. It's too handy to have an endless array of effects and tones at your toes. All things being equil, I prefere tube amps but the Line6 has a small foot print and takes 2 seconds to plug in.

VOX Valvetronix, 11 amps in one plus quite a few effects. Its ok for what I use it, dont know how a pro would like it.
