I heard that crt monitors create noise or feedback when they are too close to audio monitors or guitar amps / PA speakers.
Have you found this to be true? If so how far away does the CRT monitor need to be to operate without noise?
I ask because I'm considering having a control room and practice space in the same room. Also, if they do create noise with audio monitors, how does that play out? I seen lots of photos where people have their monitors on either side of a desk with 1 or 2 video monitors in the middle.
Thanks.

Actually, there are worse things that can happen. It's a "fairly" easy fix that doesn't horribly affect the mix in most cases. Still, it CAN be easily avoided. You might have to move some cables, change some cables, move some gear, etc. to figure it out, but nip it in the bud before it becomes a problem with angry clients.
