Hi all,
I'm researching monitors, and I can't find any tannoy reveals to demo here. Everyone's posts I've seen on this board regarding the reveals has been positive, but every single reveiew I have read on them says they are weak below 80hz (yes, I know they are rated down to 65).
So my question is, how bad is the bass? I am looking to mix all kinds of music, including very percussive-oriented electronic/dance music. Do the reveals have enough low end to accurately tell me what is going in on in the below 80hz range, or should I look into the event 20/20 passives or yorkville ysm-1's instead? I'm mainly interested in the reveals because they look great, and seem to be very accurate for the doe above 80, but if they can't do the job, they can't do the job.
