I see deaf people
unless you have 10 minutes you dont need and dont care that you cant get back ;)

just recorded this over the weekend (been up since 6 mixing it lol) and its not going to be manys (anybodys) cup of tea :D

for those that do plough through, im mixing this on headphones pretty much, wifes got a bit of work, so far not sure if

-the guitar part is way too harsh
-its too light in the LFs when the synth part comes in, not really meant to be a dance track or anything though
-im thinking of doing some real handclaps over the chanting/vocals but Im not sure it needs it

for all those that open the link, good luck lol..its called "Dark Sky"

Well... you're right about it being my cup of tea, but it is definitely my cup o' jamz... foo. :laughings:

It was actually pretty catchy. Good job on it. I like how you even out your low end synths and your higher frequency synths. They always have a nice balance to them. As for the actual song, I can't comment much on it. As I said, it's only my cup o' jamz... foo

peace :p

Yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssss!!!

I did not expect that! ....F**Kin' Looooove it!
If you think that was annoying for some,...jeez, I hate to see what people
would say about my soundscapes!!!

That was just what the DR. ordered!!!:D

I would leave it just as is,..without the claps.

ELECTRO-TRIBE!!!

More please!!!:p Keep 'em comin'!!!

That is fucking great man. The Captain Kirk meltdown at the very end seals the deal. You're actually kinda twisted aren't you? Nothing wrong with that...just sayin'.

Nice North London alien apocalypse in the Dr Who props room intro that moves onto Cornershop's rhythm section with some hari's jamming along THEN a quick call from the local minaret to get things happening with the choir from Reed's Sad Song adding some texture.
Be it marsala or sambal things move to Birmingham down by the steel works to meet up with the ghost of Human League at 5.15 or so for a cuppa before we step out beyond the conservatory to take in the ambience as the Gregorians dust the air. The beam up at the end is cute but entirely unneccessary unless you leave a link to where I can download the album.
You did it again - it'll have to stop you know! I have a reputation to uphold.
Is there a 5.1 mix?

Ray you are the only person I know here that can write utter gibberish that makes complete sense....man you must write some cool lyrics :D

thanks guys.......i thought this might crash and burn...really glad it didnt :drunk:

Jesus, who needs drugs when you've got this.....?
The percussion sounds wonderful, it's like a trip to India. And then they slip seamlessly into 80's electronica acompanied by Gregorian monks and their altar boys....and the ending? Bloody CLASSIC!! Marvellous stuff, Keith, you are using plastic to make art, a feat not many have mastered. I bow my head in admiration.:drunk::)

Joey said what I tried to say but, like his excellent lyrics, he's more succinct & less inclined to obscuration.
I love the plastic art line - but please don't take that as permission to post frozen urine or wafers of cadaver in lieu of what you do do so well.

seriously Ray you write the best critiques...but I reckon only 2% of the animal kingdom "get" them :)

i had to smile when the whole tambourine thing started

dylan is a favorite

very interesting vocal job it reminded me of captain beefheart

thanks for listening :)

Shatner is a nutter...I should have really looked on youtube or something to see if i could find a better sample as the one i had was pretty gritty and took a bit to clean up...but its just too funny not to share, there were far too many drugs around in those days for sure! :D

Sounds like somethign the ayahuasca shamen down in south america would like lol

Im building a fanbase there...with the proceeds from some charity work Im buying them a CD player :)

BTW you never commented on my northern death cult metal disco? well the guitar was as much as I could manage...seriously the crowley one started as a joke for your death metal website..I just cant play any death metal guitar to qualify it lol :o

I'd love to comment, but I'm all about following instructions, so I didn't listen to it.

Srsly, I'm gonna have to check this out tonight. kthxbai

only do it if you don't want those ten minutes, I will not be held responsible for lost time, and no refunds will be offered....

Yeah I don't know what it is either. I was typing on 3 hours of sleep there. :laughings::D:drunk::p:cool::eek:

Sorry I listened by accident

its kind of cinematic. I thought it was cool once it got going and I like the ethnic/Indian vibe in the first part. The transition from that into the Synthy part was good too and even though the sounds change up a lot they still kind of fit together and who doesn't love Shatner.

I could totally see this in a movie or TV show or something. I couldn't really see it in a club, unless it was being used as a reoccuring theme between tracks to glue them together together, but then again I haven't been clubbing in about 15 years so what the hell do I know about clubs these days

Mix is really solid though, everything is nice an clear and in it's place.
Not my scene but a nice job
