Do I need to upgrade? Could that be the solution to my issues?

Hi DT,
I've noticed that you have 3 threads going, in relation to CEP/Files/crashing!
You're a bandwidth/memory sLuTZ!....hehehe.

Now, I'm taking the conservative approach as you didn't specify if you would like to spend lot's of money!!

An upgrade would be good for you, as you really do have some very minimal specs displayed here....but to save money, u can make your machine a lot betterer.

I've never really enjoyed upgrading any HP computers, they seem to be so fussy on what you can put into them...they seem to like their OEM stuff, which kind of shits me.

First...1 G of hard drive space..is that right?..(can't be)..you need more! (no wonder you've resorted to MP3 format!!!)...if you're talking RAM, that's fine, if not, it's fucked!!...hehehe...

You may have to re-post your specs, they are confusing!!

128meg of RAM?....go to at least 256 to 512meg, just to keep XP happy.
Processor?....you may just get by with this.

Are you running XP service pack 2?....Maybe look into that.

Most importantly, and what apperars to be the main problem ......what soundcard are you using??...are they soundblasters??

Get back to us.
Regards,
Spit.

Whoops, yeah the HD is 60 Gigs. I just got back from staples, they said to upgrade from 128MB to 512 or 1 Gig, I do have soundblaster card I installed.
I think I will upgrade my memory and hopefully it will stop crashing and I won't have to reinstall the CEP software. Sweet
