Hello,

I recently bought a Mac G5 for computer recording (with Logic). All works fine for me, but just one ordinary question: my mouse.

It seems it doesn't work for me if I want to delete software, in this case my installed sound card Fast Track Pro (I wanna re-install it).

Do I need a mouse WITH a left AND right button to make me do it?

Thanks...

I think CMD click is equal to right click on a Mac. Don't quote me I don't use them often.

Control-click.

Control-Click is like a right click. Also, you could click and hold, or just drag it to the trash. my #1 suggestion is to get a 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel, though.

I second- get a proper mouse. I love my Macs, but haven't used there crappy one button mice in years.

close.

i have a coupla macs and the hell with right click!

you can work just fine w/o it.

but hey, what the heck, if you are a PC convert and not used to the mac ways, go with that then.

Thanks guys for your help. It works! Maybe I get used to the control-click, if not I'll go for the suggestion to buy one with two knobs.

Mac has supported multi button mice sence OS 8.6, but come on...properly operating a computer with less than 3 buttons is impossible... anything less and you can't run X :)
