Folks, check out Universal Audio's UAD-1 card. Just bought one.
The thing smokes Waves Ren EQ, comp, and gives the verb a serious run for its money, throws in some classic gear faithfully modeled...and actually FREES up CPU. Lists at a grand but you can get it for 7 or 8 bills...an INSANE value. Caveat: Only PC for now....

Anyone here thats LISTENING? How many times must I mention ReverbX before anyone steps up and tries it? Geez... try the damn demo and compare it to Waves, at least you'll have something as reference. Sounds great to me, but opinions are just that. Try it. Try the EQ, too. Warning: these are bigger CPU hogs than the others, too, but for good reason, IMHO.

I don't know, it's the first time I've heard you mention it. Those plugs look sweet. I bet they chew up resources though.
