if you can grab a used one for like $150, a berry ada8000 is the only thing that falls in that range..

which is pretty good actually. if you think about it, thats a damn good pre for $19.

what else can you get for $19 in the pro audio world?? i think my pop filter costed more than that..

You got a wide spread of choices monetarily speaking.
How about nailing it down to something like:
Up to $200
$200-$400
$400-$600
$600-$800
$800-$1000
etc.
If cost is no object you left out GML, the Sytek Tube, Rupert Neve (I Think),
and many more.
 
Wait - are you saying that for the top of that pay range you can actually BUY Rupert Neve?
