DMP3 vs. DMP3

I've never used the Rane pre so obviously I'm going to recommend that.

How can you even compare the 2? It's like trying to compare an Avalon with an Avalon, they're just not the same.

With that said, I'd go with the DMP3. I find that the DMP3 is better for bass and DI while the DMP3 is good on everything else.

You need to get one of the good vintage DMP3s.

Mine was pulled from Ocean Way and used on probably every good sounding track that you know. Maybe you can find one from the Record Plant or the old Capitol studios or something.

The new ones aren't the same.
