just a note- i have a DMP3 and have tried running two condenser mics through it at the same time and experienced a small amount of buzz/hum. you might want to check with others, but i've only been able to get good results with the DMP3 using one condenser and one dynamic at the same time.
it kind of made me mad- now to get two good condenser tracks at the same time, i need to pick up an Audio Buddy or something so i can have a second condenser mic going even though i only have two audio inputs on my sound card.
(if anyone else knows something i'm doing wrong on this that can be easily corrected, let me know. a couple people i talked to mentioned the same thing happening with the DMP3.)

No buzz or noise here. Check your cables and make sure your power source is properly grounded would be a couple suggestions.

No buzz here. Although the only time I can recall using phantom on both channels was for drum overheads, and I could barely turn the gain up at all.

Are you using a computer with a CRT? Mics can pick up noise from CRT monitors if they're too close to them.ericburnley said:

2 channel phantom hum
I never had a phantom-power hum problem with my DMP3. I can't remember the last time I used it with two different type/model mics, though.

I use mine with 2 mics all the time...and all mics are different. 2 condensors, or 1 cond and one dynamic. I've never had a buzz problem, and mine actually sits about 2 feet from a crt monitor. I have no idea what kind of cable quality I have, just stuff I've picked up along the way. I use both cheap, and a bit less cheap mics. I only use 2 mics with a guitar...either mic'ing an amp, or acoustic.
