Hi guys.. Sorry if this has been asked before.. couldn't find anything..
I just recently picked up this desk and love it 100%.. just having one minor issue.. I am running it through a Mac Pro w/ the FW MK II card, into Logic.

So far I have been able to do the following:

Mackie Control works flawlessly.. Love it..
Getting Audio into Logic was just as easy..
Getting Audio out of Logic and back into the DM3200 so I can use the built in compressors/eq on certain things was easy as well..

My issue is getting the audio back into Logic after I have used one of the effects on the DM3200.. Can anyone who is familiar with this process give me help? I can't think of what I am missing :(

Thanks!

assign to busses, then out FW

Hey there, I'm a 3200 owner myself. Try this:
Once you get the audio out of Logic and back into the board, assign the processed output of each channel to a corresponding buss channel. Then assign those busses back out of the firwire channels and back into Logic. You will need to assign new channels in Logic for the new inputs from the FW out, from the board. The only way to record board-processed audio is through a buss, be it a stereo buss, or the channel busses.

Yup

Yup that's all I needed to do! How simple was that! :)

Thank you very much that solved my problem perfectly!

OK, back to playing with this wonderful desk! =D

Glad I could help. BTW, I have been on this board for a few years now and have become pretty familiar with it. The routing learing curve is crazy, but worth it. I've been thrilled with this board and, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
