WLE will make Redbook compliant CD's which a DAW like cubsae or reaper can't do. WLE can do PQ codes, ISRC, CD-Text, etc... If you want to send a master off for duplication, that is the stuff you want coded on it.

Which version? I think I have WLE6 and it does not burn cd's. I was hoping Wavosaur would burn so I could abandon WL (I am no fan of anything Steinberg) but it won't do it either.

I have WLE6 also. I can get it to burn one cd at a time, but not more than that. :( I think they keep a directory of cd burners and it is not up to date. Dumbasses. For sure there's a better way to manage that aspect of it.

But on the other hand, I only need to burn one CD at a time then I use Kunaki to make duplicates (replicates?) because it is much much easier, cheaper and the printing is way better.

I really like Cubase, though. :o
