Diverse Mics

Shure SM7B (dynamic), Rode NTK (tube mic), Oktava MK319 (dark condenser especially flattering on some female and backing vocals)

A MC-319 has a dark color. An AT-4047 has a tranny in it and has some color as well. The suggestion for an SM-7 or any high quality dynamic like an RE-20 or an RE27 or a Senheiser are dandies too.
