Distortion

Guitars sound great. Everything is well played. Low end is perfect.

I noticed this mix is pretty narrow - not much stereo width.

The vocals are a little buried. Might be intentional.

I've always loved distortion. Been experimenting recently adding different types of distortion at different stages of the recording.

I liked it; all the distortion adds a vibe for sure. All that distortion is totally fine…it’s an effect. I think the difference between an amateur distorted recording and a professional distorted recording would probably come down to the performance and arrangement. I’ve heard some terrible recordings that were amazing because they were great songs that were well played.

There were a few little performance/timing issues in there that could be improved upon. And, as mentioned, you could play with leaving a few things clean and clear to hold it together (kick and cymbals maybe?). But good job and thanks for sharing!
