distorted guitars

this is another older song i remixed. there are two distorted guitars on either side of the sound spectrum. they're both playing the same notes but with a slightly different rhythm and tone. i tried to mix the two guitars so they mix into a distorted stew but still be definable in the mix. let me know if it's too muddy sounding.

Hmmm, first thing I noticed is that the snare doesn't cut through at all, the bass drum is far more overpowering.

As far as the guitars sound, its hard for me to point my finger at exactly what is wrong, but its almost as if they're too deep.
 
The vocal level is a bit inconsistent. The first thing I'd look at is compressing them a lot to even them out and give them more presence in the mix
