Hi

Used to post here a long time ago under a different name...

Anyhow, if there are people among you that are into Industrial, Powernoise and other harsh stuff, I'd like your opinions on my latest tune "Disembodiment"

Stream: http://www.soundclick.com/util/streamm3u.m3u?id=2742783&q=hi

Download: http://www.soundclick.com/noisewreck It's the first tune in the list.

I'd appreciate comments on the mixing end of things. I suspect that the bass maybe a tad too much. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Just wanted to say i listened and liked it, and bump you, i'm afraid i have no contructive criticism. I think it's a great mix. But this type of music is (yet) beyond my scope. Thanks for posting!

Thanks man, glad you liked it :) Been working towards this kind of genre crossover for quite some time, and I think this is the first successful attempt.

I like this. The sounds are very full. Lots of bass, yet it doesn't clip. All the brighter sounds seem to work through the mix just fine. Reminds me of some music on the original Jackyl soundtrack. This would give a very ominous fel to the right video. Cool tune.

Thanks for the comments Ed. Glad you liked it :) Happy to hear that you don't think the bass isn't too much. My room acoustics aren't ideal, and I have major problems with standing waves in the 45-50Hz area, so it's kinda hard to judge the bass sometimes.

P.S. BTW it just made #1 on Soundclick Industrial Charts! Very pleased with that to say the least :D

Very interesting and not what I expected. As I was listening, around 1:15 the image came where I was running through Manhattan near some construction work, only the music took the chaos and aligned it... somewhere a bit later the image changed and the mechanical sounds had become my heartbeat and breathing. I thought the mix balance was very effective - no bass problems.

Interesting description Timothy. Not having had the pleasure of being in NYC, can't say I quite relate, but yes, there are some elements that convey heartbeat intentionally. Hey that's the good thing about music, everyone interprets it their own way :D I'm happy it touched you.

Glad to know the bass is OK.

Thanks for the listen.
