(dis) assembly question

I have a V67g and a V67M. I am hesitant about taking them apart, but I was thinking of swapping the grills (or casings) so that I had a gold/black and a green/black. Anyone know how to do this gently?

It would easiest to switch the casings. Just unscrew the bottom ring, and then just twist the bottom lip of the casing while holding the main body. Once that's off, you can just slip the casing off and swap it with the other casing. There's a notch in the top of the housing that will guide it into position, so you don't have to worry about lining it up.

That's all there is to it.

BE CAREFUL !

When you unscrew the bottom ring the guts of the mic can just drop out if you are only holding the body and not the grille!
