Direct Input or Cab Mic?

Hey all, our church is upgrading our system and we need a better way to get the bass in the mixer. What would you prefer a direct input into our presonus firepod, or a decent bass cab mic? By the way we don't have a very good amp. Just a small 30W. Thnx in advance, Jacob

Leaves the mixer bass-line clean, no matter how severe punishment the poor 30watter must receive for the bassist to hear anything from it.
