just need some input-i have a tascam 788 i am interested in using some of the x series heavy metal/chorus pedeal for direct recording of the guitar has anybody used these type of stomp boxes in this way and what were the results.any feedback will help.thanks for looking gh

Haven't tried the little single pedals however....

I have a GNX and it is great.

The effects are better than the amp modeling. I also use a Pod pro (better amp modeling not so good effects) and between the two of them there is not much I cant do !

The worst thing about the GNX is that you cant use just the effects.
