Well, what I want to know is... Which one is the overall best out of these two.

i dont know of any major bands that use the gt-6...but i do and no one knows who i am LOL i'm a boss person and i bought the gt-6 to replace all the pedals i bought which cuts my set up time for shows by a third. another guitarist i know uses the gnx3 (i think thats what it is) and he doesnt like my sound and i dont like his....we offset i guess...

They are both crap....the amp sims sound like fuzzy, processed shit......Boss FX are pretty good, but the base-tones just don't cut it....

IF, you are gonna buy a modeller, get the Line6 XT PRO, or even the older POD PRO....or check out the new VOX Tone Lab...

i wouldnt consider the gt-6 crap....i havent had any modeler inlcluding line 6 that didnt need some tweaking to get the sound you want.

Sure,

the XTPRO and Vetta II, etc., do take some tweaking to find the sweet spots....but, the end result is a pretty close amp sim..on many of the models..

All digitech and Boss modellers have that 'processed' synthetic kinda edge....up until now, nobody beats Line6 for actual tone simulation...I've demo'd/used 'em all....

I'ver owned used the Rocktron Replitone modellers too....great cleans, good FX (as always with Rocktron) and the HUSH system makes their units nice n quite....but the high gains are also overly processed sounding with a 'fizzy' edge...
