WTF are you talking about, theres no "right" place to put it. And if he puts it away from the cone, its going to be even more flat. and the farther it is the more high pitched it soundsjonnyc said:Just get the mic away from the center of the cone. That's the really harsh spot. It usually sounds a little better about two inches over, but check all around the speaker to find the sweetspot. Don't listen to myhat, he even admitted he wasn't an audio engineer.
