has anyone done this? like through "theorchard.com" where they submit your music for encoding to all the major digital music distribution services worldwide for a fee? And you get a 70% of every download

if you have, was it helpful for getting your music and name out there?

its not very expensive, and it sounds like it could be very beneficial, even if just to be able to tell listeners that they can download your music through their favorite subscription based service....i think it would add to the image of being a legitimate artist in the public eye...

especially since ipod's and mp3's are so hot right now, i think this might be a good investment for a band, but im interested in hearing what others think about it.
