What's a decent recorder to record a full band? I have an MR-8 but I don't think that's gonna cut it.

I'm on a tight budget but can probably spend about $1000 or less hopefully.

We play rock: One guitar and vocals, Keyboard and vocals, Bass player, Drums, and Lead singer.

You'll get a few different answers but I'm very happy with my Yamaha AW16G.

For less than a grand you can get a fostex VF160ex and a ADA8000.
Then you can record upto 16 tracks at once.

I vote for the AW16G. I have one and love the little thing.

A third vote for the AW16g. For the money you won't find better. IMHO.
