Hey guys, I just got a brand new Digi001 for FREE!!!. And yes, I know it was brand new. I busted the plastic to get it out... Here's the only catch... What I have is a PC, and the software included is for the Mac. So, I downloaded the ASIO drivers from digidesign.com and the wav drivers, and all I get is 2 channels of output with no volume control, and NO inputs! Argh... Anyone have any experience with this?

I can't help but i have to ask as Im sure someone else will. How do you go about getting a Digi 001 for "free"?
Did you mean to say it fell off the back of a truck?

LOL No, it didn't fall off the back of a truck. My company used to be involved in producing radio comercials for one client. I was not with them at that time. They decided to spend the money on making their own studio instead of paying another studio to do it. Well, while the studio was being built, and after they purchased all of the equipment, the company they did the comercials for decided to quit doing business with us. We didn't have any other use for studio stuff. So, about a year later, I come into the scene. I was promised a raise after 30 days, which I never received. So, I struck up a deal with my employer to give me all of that sound equipment as payment for the raise until the price of the equipment was equal to what I would have made by the raise. So, I guess you could say that I paid for it, but free makes it sound so much better. :D

The funny thing is though, they puchased this thing for a PC. The guy that sold it to them even sold them a PC to put it into.
