digi 002?

How good is the Digi 002. Right now I have the Motu 896 using a pc. I am thinking of switching to mac and getting a Digi 002. Do you think this is a good move? If I get it will I need to buy a better preamp or does it already have good ones?

Also, look at the new Tascam FW1804 and FW1884 which is pretty much the samething, but half the price. It want work with protools though

I wouldn't think it would be that huge of a difference, unless you wanna switch to pro tools, then yes, go for the digi 002. If you like the program you are currently running, save you money and stick with motu.
