Different OverHeads

Just a Thought/Question....

Would having two different mics for overheads be a strange and/or bad thing?

I'm thinkin of getting a Nady CM-88 and a Behringer ECM-8000

Or a pair of one of those

I'd like to try those 603s but i don't have the cash at this point and anything is better than a pair of sm-58's hanging over my poor drummer (although I don't have to worry about him killing the mics if he hits em' :-)
 
Depends.


When using two different mics, I've found that the wider you pan them, the odder/stranger it sounds, but they start blending together better as you narrow the pan to the 3 and 9 position or tighter.
