why are they different?...

All you have to do is right click on the link in the location bar in your browser and" highlite" it ,then right click again and hit copy. then go to your post or text editor (wordpad, Msoffice etc.) then right click again and click copy. Then you paste it.
Try it out on this link. Just right click and hold it down and drag the mouse across it then let go. It should be highlited. Hold the mouse over the highlite and right click again. A screen will come up with copy and paste etc. copy it then go to a text editor or a blank spot where you post. Left Click where you need the cursor to go, then right click and hit paste.
