Delta 66 Omni package

Hey all, just bought the Delta66/Omni bundle. Installed the sound card and the Omni, no problem. I'm following the Delta tutorial for a simple recording setup. Hooked up a mic to the Mic In (channel 1). Opened the control panel and followed the directions for setting the correct ins/outs so I could record and monitor the playback.

When I test the mic, I see the signal light on the Omni flash, but I'm NOT seeing any level on the peak meter for HW 1/2 (Delta Control Panel). I've made sure that fader is not muted and the levels are all the way up (0db). Shouldn't I see some kind of level? Anybody else run into this? It's my first go at recording and I haven't found any other posts that refer to this yet.

I have this set up...

When you opened up the control pannel for the Delta-66... did you look at wavOut 1/2 or did you scroll to the right to the HW In 1/2 ?

Do you HEAR anything, or is it just that you can't see anything?

When you look at the "Patchbay / Router" tab... what do you have checked and what is left unchecked?

You have to give us something to work with here. You can't just pop up and say... "I don't see nuttin' regestering on the control pannel... Why not?"

Write whatever on Earth you think might help and then people will answer you. i had a SHIT of a time getting mine to work, and in the end it turned out that I was just an idiot and could have fixed it the whole time I just was too think.

You gotta press the 'to ins' buttons on the back panel of the box. This confuses everybody (including me, when I first got the thing). I don't know how many times I've typed this very response.

Okay, it's working now. Thanks for your responses. I'm just impatient! I'll try to make my next post more informative about whatever on Earth I'm trying to ask.
