i do love smilies...
hey there,

i've just got my new machine, with Cubase SX, and installed the Delta 66 from my old computer. for some reason, and i've spent the last hour trying to work out why, Cubase is only seeing two inputs and two outputs from the Delta 66, and no SPDIF. i've gone through the different "Devices Setup" options, and had a good look through all the menus, and can't find anything. i've also tried the "VST Connections" section under "Devices", but again, the only option there is for inputs 1 and 2.

i've also reinstalled the latest drivers (which was what were installed in the first place) but nothing has changed.

has anyone else had a similar problem, and knows how to get all 6 inputs and outputs working?

thanks a lot,

Andy

which driver are u running and under device setup/VST audio bay what is shown? Are the inputs on and assigned under VST connections(F4)?

I think you probably need to change the driver w/in cubase

aha!

i looked under the VST Audiobay, changed the ASIO drivers to Delta, and there we are - lots of lovely inputs and outputs :)

ta!

Andy

Apologies, i described that really badly... i haven't changed it to the Delta ASIO thingy, i've just changed something in the original one, that was already selected. This allowed me to select all the inputs and outputs, and set them up with different buses in the VST Connections page.

the only thing i wasn't 100% sure about was whether i should use the "M Audio Delta 66 Multi" option, which seems to be inputs 1 and 2, or just use the "M Audio Delta 66 1/2" - if i don't change anything, its set up for the first one. but maybe it doesn't matter, as long as all 6 inputs are there and ready to be used :)

thanks again,

Andy
