Probably a silly question, which is why the word "newbie" appears near my name. Was wondering, on the Delta 44, are two of the outputs always used as monitor outs? Doesn't that effectively limit the number of external effects devices you can run during mixdown to two?

Thanks..

You have 4 outs, which you can use the Delta Control Panel to route however you want to. You would probably use two of those for R and L monitoring. So yes, you would then be limited to 2 more sends. It you need more than that, look at the 1010.

The Delta has a lot of flexibility with regards to external monitoring. If you use the internal mixer, you can route the mixer outputs to either of the two pairs of outputs. You can, however, also route any input to any output

So, for instance, you can use the internal mixer to route the four (6 if you include digital) inputs and the four (6) wav outputs (the wav outputs are the outputs the software sees, so the software output) to one set of hardware outputs and, for instance, send one set of the inputs to the other set of hardware outputs.

I don't generally use the internal mixer - though now that I think about it, maybe I should... ponder, ponder.

Obviously my reference to digital in the previous post only applies to the 66....
