Hey all,

Just wondering dose anyone else have this problem.
When i go into the control pannell of the 1010LT in Window XP. And try to use the volume controls or the Mute buttons, none of them effect the volume attal under the Monitor mixer tab. So in return I get my ears blown off during the playback of a track :/

The sound is going through the card, and shows up on the meter, but the volume slides aint takeing any effect.anyone else ever had this problem? Or should i just be using the master in Bass Management?
Thanks,

The control panel mixer will only affect what you hear if...

The speakers/monitors are running off the cards Analog outputs 1/2.

And...

The Monitor Mixer is selected as the source for the hardware output 1/2 in the control panel patchbay/router.

I've selected "Monitor mix" in the patchbay/router tab, Connected to the 1 and 2. and i aint getting any sound attal.

But when i change the setting to wave out 1/2 i get sounds. but the sliders dont effect it.

Any ideas?

I have a Delta 10/10 and I was trying to figure the same thing out when I first got it. But bascially, if you are running your monitor system from the delta instead of through a mixer and you select the monitor mix instead of the waveout,, you have to use the software volume or the windows volume from your mixer settings.

ohh right, i was thinking of that, but never actually go around to trying it,
Thanks :)

When you have Waveout1/2 feeding the 1/2 out, the mixer can't affect the level.
When you select the mixer, the sliders for Wave1/2 (and whatever other ins and outs you need to monitor) and the Master have to be on full and the channels enabled (un-muted).

Done that, still no effect. When i pull the sliders up or down.
