Anybody have success/problems with this configuration? Thanks.

i run a Delta 1010 (NOT the LT) with Win2k Pro and have had no problems what so ever. in fact, i run it alongside an Audiophile 2496 for 10 inputs and have had nary a problem.

the Delta drivers for windows are pretty rock solid. your computer, OS config, and sysadminning skills, etc., of course, will vary from mine (i'm a systems engineer for my "real" job, so keeping a rock-solid machine in the first place is no problem for me).

YMMV,

I run a 1010lt on Win XP- no problems at all. But like Mr. F says- YMMV

I went out today and bought the Delta 1010LT. It's AWESOME, but I have a few questions:

1. I can't find an audio input for my CD-Rom drive like I had with my SoundBlaster. I'm guessing that something like that is non-existant on the 1010LT, and the alternative is running a wire from the headphone jack on the CD-Rom to one of the Delta's inputs. Is there a better way?

2. I record guitar using a Line6 Flextone II amp. I's basically a POD built into the amp. It has an XLR out that is +4 Line Level. When I connect it directly to my XLR Input 1 on my Delta 1010LT, I get a tremendous amount of hiss. However, if I first run it into an AudioBuddy (pre-amp), then to the Delta Input 3 (Line Level input) I get no hiss. Does this problem have something to do with the jumper settings on the Delta?

Thank you for all of the advice, I am very happy with my decision on purchasing the Delta 1010LT based on forum members' recommendations.

As for your first question... you dont really need that cable that goes from the the cd-rom to the sound card- If your cd-rom drive is capable of digital audio extraction (it is unless your usin an extremely OOOOLLLLLDDDDDD cd-rom). The system, OS, whatever- takes digital audio from the cd-rom- over the IDE bus and through the Mobo. My technical explaination is probably a little off- but trust me- hok yer stuff up without that cable and it'll work- and if it doesnt then you just cant play music cds on your computer- probably not the end of the world.

for your second question- i dont know- you probably need to switch those jumpers- follow the directions.

If you have any other q's let us know- good luck and have fun with it- its a pretty powerful card considerin it cost practically nothin
