When I listen to Deftones, the guitar sounds really ambient for parts of it. I figured it was just that they put a lot of reverb on it, but when I try that it never sounds right. Am I just setting my reverb wrong, or are they doing something else to it? If you go to their myspace, I think you can see what I'm talking about. "Xerces" is also a good example. Danke.
